We moved. Things fell into place / jobs shifted / parents aging / stars aligned - and it feels like it happened overnight and that it’s been happening for a year all at the same time.

I’m still processing it. Even though I woke up to my first Florida sunrise, it hasn’t felt real yet. Probably because we’re just staying at my parents for a couple a weeks until we find something to rent. We will eventually buy. Or build. Who knows. I can’t commit to much right now.

A few bullet points to cover the most asked questions.
1 Tyler left for Florida in Feb to start his job as the new head coach of the local high school down here (harmony hight school) where all my family lives. It’s actually the same high school he helped open and was their first head coach 20+!years ago. So it’s been a type of a homecoming for him.
2 Ace will start his junior year here. And Finn will start his freshman year here. They’ll be attending high school with 8 of their cousins! 10 of them! Together. So they are pretty happy about that!
3 Tee will be here in Florida with us for part of the summer and then will head back to Orem to maybe go to school at UVU or maybe work. We’ll see what he decides. He’ll live at home with Avery and Chuck for now.
4 we are keeping our house in Utah for now. Avery and Chuck have moved in and will take care of it for us. We are in process of making the basment a legal accessory appt.
5 Yes my grandbaby moved into a house a stones throw away from us. Yes Jett and Monroe are having baby number 2 in August. Yes Im absolutely devastated to be moving away from them. Wade. Is. Everything.
6 I have moved to a fully remote position at Chatbooks so I can continue working for the best company ever! And with work and my adult kids living in Utah, I’ll have plenty of excuses to come back often

So there it is. This 7th generation Floridian is back to her roots. I’ll miss the mountain views right outside my front door. But look forward to salty beach days anytime I want.
