It’s taken some time to sink in…

Last weekend @rugbyboroughdiamonds were invited to the @acesnationals where we played against England’s strongest U11 Girls teams, the standard was really high! ⬆️

This team just don’t know when they are beaten though and we lost just one game all day, eventually winning in the final on pens against a brilliant PPC side from Manchester ⚽️

DIAMONDS ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! 🏆

All eyes are now on this weekend’s @esf_football National Finals at St George’s Park 👀

ACES 2026 U12 National Champions 🏆

It’s taken me a day to fully process what this group has achieved.

This success has been built on hard work, teamwork, dedication, cold mornings, wet training sessions, and a commitment to always improving. As coaches, we ask the girls to play football the right way, because great players may win games, but great teams win tournaments.

And now this group has achieved something truly special.

We faced so many outstanding teams on the road to the final, and the level of talent on display throughout the competition was incredible to see.

In the final, we came up against one of the best footballing sides in the country. @ppcplayerprogressioncoaching are a fantastic team who play the game the right way. Penalties is always a tough way to lose a tournament.
This group of girls has already achieved so much, and I have no doubt they will continue to enjoy success in the future. Good luck to all of them.

As for our girls, words can’t describe how proud we are.

They showed courage, determination, resilience, and togetherness every step of the way. They played for each other, believed in each other, and represented Rugby Borough with pride.

To be crowned ACES National Champions is an achievement that nobody can ever take away from them.

Champions of England. What a team. What a journey. 💎🏆❤️

2x ESF Champions 🏆🏆

What a weekend in Skegness for the girls at the @esf_football tournament — full of football, bonding, and memories that will last a lifetime.

The girls showed incredible determination and courage against some top-quality sides — going the entire weekend unbeaten and conceding just 1 goal 💪🔥

Day 1:5 games — 3 wins, 2 draws

Day 2:The girls really dug deep — 2 wins, 1 draw — sending us into the final against a strong Sheffield Wednesday side.

0-0 in the final… straight to penalties.

And then… GINGE.4 saves out of 5 penalties 🤯👏

Composure from Olivia and JB, both slotting theirs home 🏠 — and just like that, the trophy is coming back to the Diamonds 💎

Retaining a title is never easy, but this group went through so much together this weekend and showed exactly what they’re about.

The level of the girls’ game is rising every year, and we faced some unbelievable teams and talent across the tournament 👏

A massive thank you to all the teams for the respect shown — and a special mention to @olneyfootballclub for the guard of honour after we collected the trophy 🧡That’s what it’s all about — girls supporting girls in football.

Next stop… St George’s Park. We’re ready for the challenge 🏆🔥🔥
