This was the distillery visit I was waiting for as I've been to @churchofoak twice..last year I was shown around outside as there are no visitors allowed so this year when the chance came to go and see the inside with @irishwhiskeysociety I wouldn't miss it😎
Thank you Alex for setting it up and Marie and Garrett and the team for looking after us so well🎩👌
It was set up by Garrett Pritcher and the team....with backing of two heavyweights of Bono and Paddy McKillen Snr and in my opinion is a good set up as the guys have the time to try different styles and types of whiskey and boy there are many we tasted and are produced at the distillery.

The building it's self is stunning as the architect kept as much of the old building and nicely added the new part...the visitors centre will be top as it is inside with the mighty stills😎

There should be releases starting in two years and it will surprise many people what first two releases will be and have to say it won't be the typical first releases of SpS etc...🤘
Is it risky?time will tell but all the drops we tasted were stunning in it's own way🥃

Sour Mash,Pot Still,New Make Spirit,2x Rye,2x Single Malt.....and Oat....these were the drops👌

We all picked our favourites but trust me they all are brilliant they defo didn't pick the easy road to make whiskey and it will be big when the first releases come out....keep an eye on it🥃🤘

It has been an amazing experience working at this distillery for the past 2+ years. I’ve learned so much, and am really proud to have been part of the team since commissioning. I honestly think it’s producing some of the most exciting spirit in the whiskey world. I can’t wait to see product on the shelves, and look forward to seeing how it develops.

Now though, new whisky adventure incoming… 🥃
