Lately, I’ve been spending a little less time trying to keep up and a little more time paying attention. 💁🏽‍♀️
Settling into a new home. Building a new routine. Moving my body. Creating. Reading. Laughing. Spending time with good people. Letting life surprise me.

I’ve realized every season asks something different of us. Some seasons are for chasing. Others are for building. Others are simply for appreciating what you’ve already worked so hard to create.

This one feels like the latter.

The older I get, the more I believe the “big life” is really just hundreds of ordinary moments that quietly become extraordinary when you slow down enough to notice them. Right now, I’m exactly where I need to be. ☺️

I’d love to know… what’s been filling your cup lately? 💃🏽

Follow @networkwithandrew for more value.

1. The distance isn’t the hard part. The last 20km is.
Anyone can ride 80km. The final stretch is where preparation gets audited.

2. Eat from the very first hour.
If you wait until you’re tired, you’ve already lost. First bite at 30 minutes, then every 25-30 after.

3. Your neck and hands hurt before your legs do.
Nobody warns you about this. Change hand positions constantly and drop your shoulders every 10 minutes.

4. Ride your own numbers.
Getting dragged along at someone else’s pace is the fastest way to a very slow finish.

5. The café stop is part of the ride.
A proper stop at 60km real food, refill bottles buys back the whole final hour.

6. Finishing changes something in your head.
Once you’ve done 100km, every “I can’t” in your life gets quieter. That’s the real reason to do it.

Send this to someone training for their first century and follow @networkwithandrew for more.

We spent the morning riding through Arrábida, chasing the best angles and trying to capture the intensity of every climb. At one point, Leon was driving while I was hanging out of the back of the car, sitting on the edge of the trunk, camera in hand, doing everything I could to get the shot. Those are the moments that make this job so much fun.

I got home genuinely excited to start editing. Even before we wrapped the shoot, I could already picture how this film would come together.

Days like these remind me why I fell in love with filmmaking in the first place.

Big thanks to @churumissa for making this connection happen, and to @networkwithandrew for trusting me to tell a small part of your journey through my perspective. #sony #sonyalpha #video #videomaker

' Desesperar, jamais..
Aprendemos muito nesses anos,
Afinal de contas, não tem cabimento
Entregar o jogo no primeiro tempo

Nada de correr da raia,
Nada de morrer na praia,
Nada, nada

O dito popular

" Desesperar Jamais". 🤍

Funny how being forced to slow down can make you realise just how special something was.
The last couple days I’ve been down and out sick, but it’s also given me time to sit with everything from my trip and reflect, especially on our retreat in Portugal. What a privilege to spend time with such incredible people, hear their stories, learn from them, and be reminded how much your environment matters.

So grateful to be surrounded by people with big hearts, big goals, and a vision for more. This retreat filled my cup in ways I didn’t expect.
So excited for what’s to come 🥹💕
