Be Warned...

My generals from the 3 tribes of my kingdom, Akashinga, Ottora, Jabari, are already in the city on my orders to reek havoc to whomever they find idle in their homes, choosing to ignore my call to Alliance Française this evening. Do not be one of those people, for I did not order my warriors to hold back.

Today is the day that I, King Budzi, will address my people on matters of the future of the kingdom. For your sake, you better be there

The journey to Year 10 continues...

Nine years into my dance journey, I'm honoured to return to the stage with Afrikera Dance Theatre—the performing company of @afrikeraartstrust, where I trained and graduated.

This time, I'll be stepping into the lead role of King Budzi in King Budzi's Contest, a dance theatre production created by the graduating class that followed mine. It's a full-circle moment, returning to the stage where my theatre journey began and once again portraying a king.

This performance is another chapter in my Road to 10—a reminder that growth comes from saying yes to new challenges, embracing new roles, and never stopping the pursuit of excellence.

Join us at @afharare on Friday, 7 August, at 6:30 PM.

Special appreciation to the graduating cast who created this production as well as @cathrinedouglas91, @wowrae._, and Soukaina M-L Edom for their invaluable creative leadership and artistic contribution.

Move. Heal. Grow.
