Anyone else’s house as excited as mine for #spookyseason? She’s been asking to wear her Halloween costume since we bought it😭😂

I’m more into movies like coco and that one from the 90s or 00s with the skull candies.. I wish I could explain better lol. I love learning about Dia de los Muertos & ofrendas etc. ppl villainize Halloween & don’t take the time to research other people’s cultures. Christianity did a number on my people especially😂

Anywhoooo those giant #skeletons had me feeling like I just walked on the set of #halloweentown 🙌🏾🔥

I grew up with a fajah who sang to me when it was hard to talk & I in turn do the same with my Boogie💜🩵

#makemybabyslunchwithme 💜🦋living in answered prayers is so sweet. I remember driving from seven oaks in Scarborough down to midtown Toronto, stopping near Fairview mall to drop my baby at daycare along the way - I used to pray for times like this😭🤣 I truly thank Jah for the ability to have #slowmornings and to do what I want/still get shmoney hehe.

I love #momlife & a few of my girlies always ask how I do what I do, not on no cocky 💩 so #joinme as I start documenting a bit more, especially because my fiery little Capricorn wants to vlog and do all the things 🌟🤣🤷🏾‍♀️ #icantsaynotoher 🧚🏾🩵🧜🏾‍♀️

What is up my guys?! You got any elopers in your house? And runners/trackstars?😜

Luckily in mine, I’m the only who seems to do it haha🤷🏾‍♀️ for as long as I can remember, I’ve been running to the water. My Boogie is way better with her emotions because I’ve spent TIME teaching her how to navigate in this wild world & luckily she has a pops there 24/7 which makes a huge difference. Actually, I ride my bike because it’s something I used to do with MY pops. The streets of Brampton had us cruising throughout - long before it became Gotham City jr🤣

We also LOVE to talk to animals. The other day at a bday party, she left the kids to go talk to a turtle🤣😩 I too MUCH prefer talking to animals over humans. Humans are often full of excuses regarding the ish they do & they listen to respond… doggie & kitties just get us better 🤷🏾‍♀️🤣

By the time I moved to Malvern in my teens, I learned I couldn’t continue to elope at night the same way… so I may or may not have figured out how to get onto my roof on Warwick Castle Court🫣🤫🤣 #ImSorryMama 😩🤣🤣🤣

I truly pray that our community learns that labels do not have to be a detriment, as a matter of fact they should never be seen that way. My sweet girl was in grade 1 when she told me school was mind control🤣 I already knew she was a sage Saige, but that one caught me off guard.

Today we both find ourselves on the A Team, as her sweet friend at school calls it. She always tells me they get along well and feel connected for a shared Dx.

Not only that, she went to the coolest camp last year for a Dx, she gets the extra help I desperately needed as a child, she has a chance that is taken from so many youth of colour because the fear of a label.

I beg you to please stop dimming your children’s light.. shoot, yours too - shine on man ✨

Instead of misdiagnosing your kids, especially publicly to family and friends - advocate for them. Empower them. Whitney said it best, the children are the future 💡🫶🏾

Not me putting the captions over the words lmao. I ain’t going back.

gym was ALWAYS my answer too Imao.
We’ve learned that both our spicy brains thrive on music, so starting with karaoke is always a vibe..

When “wake up” doesn’t work, music does 🤣🙌🏾she picks her own outfits & yes those are my slippers I just love my mini me 🫶🏾
