My new single Love is out on the 12th of November. It’s the first thing I’ve released in over three years, and the first song from my debut album.

I started writing it in a car park in north Dublin on my lunch break when I was working as a barista — pacing around, recording voice memos and trying not to cry.
We were still dating but I knew it was ending soon.

I brought that voice note and bunch of demos to @seanbehanmusic and together we created a body of work that helped not only heal a broken heart but also revealed who I’ve always been, an absolute catch.

Comment LOVE and I’ll send you the pre-save link 💙

Made with some of my favourite people:

Executive Producer & Recording Engineer @seanbehanmusic
Mixed by @darrenheelis
Mastered by Alex Wharton @abbeyroadstudios

Drums by @cianhanley_
Drum and choir tracking by @maverickquestmusic, @tobycortonmusic
Tracking assistance @yoshizawakeisuke33

And a seven-piece choir, which I still can’t quite believe:

Choir direction by @tobycortonmusic, @maverickquestmusic and me

Choir; @remy_naidoo, Lisa McCabe, @katieryanvox @niamhkavmusic @alannahhewitt @iamcarmylove @sallyanneburke_

Music Video by @benkadams
Trailer edit by me
Makeup & Grooming by @by.shamirah
Production & movement assistance from @ciaraeoconnor

‘I prefer thunder and rain
To a storm made of feathers.
I prefer howling wind
To unanswered questions.

We could fall out of love
And into your arms
I’m out on the edge and I can’t let go.
Half a life
Is all that I’ll know
Cause living without you is no choice at all.’

For 3 years I haven’t played any of my older songs. This is my favourite version of ‘Half A Life’ live.

2018 • The Róisín Dubh • Galway

With Cian Hanley on drums and Enda Cahill on electric 🖤 loved playing with the boys.
