GRADUATING SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: CIARA🎓✨

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT LDP?
I’ve been dancing at LDP since Season 2, and it has truly been the best 12 years of my life.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE LDP MEMORY?
I have so many amazing memories to choose from, but one of my favorites has to be the staff dance at the Christmas party when I was just a junior. The highlight was watching Miss Kelli do cartwheels across the room in a holiday onesie!

WHERE ARE YOU HEADING NEXT YEAR?
This fall, I’ll be heading to Cal Poly SLO as a Psychology major, and hopefully I’ll be studying at the beach every day!

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO MISS THE MOST ABOUT LDP?
I’m going to miss so many things about LDP, but what I’ll miss most is the beautiful community that I get to call my family. I wouldn’t be where I am today without all the friendly faces that have come in and out of the studio over the years. Dedicating so much time and making so many sacrifices for dance hasn’t always been easy, but I’ll never regret it because of the strength, perseverance, and confidence I’ve gained throughout my journey here. I can never thank LDP enough for everything it has taught me and for all that I’ve been able to accomplish because of it.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO YOUNGER LDP DANCERS?
To the younger dancers out there, all I can say is to keep going. There are so many things that can distract you and pull you in different directions, but there is truly nothing like having a passion for dance. Passion is so powerful in today’s world, and not everyone is lucky enough to find something they love. So stay gracious, spread kindness, work hard, and most importantly, be present in every moment.
