Last week I stepped out of my comfort zone and took a group of 11 kids and 5 adults from Flint, Michigan who had very little, if any, outdoor experience on a camping trip to Pinedale, Wyoming. I had my boys, Liam and Finn, along with Liam’s girlfriend to help. My husband dreamt up this trip as an opportunity to get these inner city kids out into the wild and hiking, fishing, and seeing things they’ve never seen. He planned everything, but then ended up in the hospital the week before we left with severe back issues. So, we forged on without him. . . Every day had its struggles and challenges, but every day also had something good in it. . . Here’s hoping this adventure had a positive impact on everyone who was a part of it ⛰️♥️
