Bill and I made 150 middle eastern inspired dolmas — their cute little hand-wrapped grape leaf casings makes them a perfect Bug Bite on the go! We love seeing our fellow burners enjoy and the surprised looks on their faces as they chomp into these tasty treats!

Learning Man Reflection Post #3:

Magic is real 🪄

Imagine the level of energy in a curated DJ set one artist is passionate about, an art car created by a group of humans who dreamed it up for years, a group of friends who love each other, a dance floor of people enjoying the music—and times it by 70,000. The only other remotely comparable energetic connectedness, magic, and palpable humanity I can compare it to was the two weeks after the hurricane in Asheville and that was intense trauma and tragedy. I could feel people, communities, camp’s vibes, and aligned energy in not only my heart & in my gut—but in my fingertips. What was aligned and in flow was blatantly clear. Which people were my people were full fuck yes’s in my whole system. Total energetic clarity and resonance.

Before the man burns—I had to go out with my people for the night or else you couldn’t find anyone. Too many places they could be. Then a portal happens when everybody comes together with their tribes, radical expressions, and full embodiments all together in one place for the man burning & it’s INSANE the synchronicities. I ran into folks in deep playa just passing by, found friends immediately everywhere I went, @dust.sounds & I met a Dust & Freya 😂, I ran into @maddisonkitt_ & @brandonkitt who I haven’t seen in 10yrs and they already knew my people?! Tf?!

Magic is real. It’s in us. It’s in every moment. It’s in every sunrise and sunset. It’s in tribe. It’s in music. It’s in somatic expression. It’s in collective consciousness. It’s in fire 🔥 It’s in nature. It’s in tragedy. You just have to tap into yourself deeply enough to tap into it. You can only connect to it as deeply as you’ve connected with yourself.

I felt what I left on the temple release when it burned. I felt huge layers of it leave my body. I felt my energy crash. I felt it surge. I felt it align with my core truth and power. It’s breathtakingly beautiful in every way. I love this human experience & I will always strive to live life, feel emotions, and explore this world to the fullest ✨

I love you @jarek.spencer, thank you for capturing such amazing photos and videos of our experience 🥹

Stoked to be returning to BRC after a transformative year off 🫶

Taking it a little easier on sets this Burn - five was A LOT at E11 - but I’m stoked to be playing at my home camp, @cicadia_ut, and kicking off ratchet night again at the @sophistapirates, this time as LORE-Kat ❤️‍🔥
Both Utah-based camps are also making their Big Burn debuts this year! Come say hi 😁

I’m hoping my health cooperates more than it did at E11, but I’ll get what I get, and I won’t get upset 🙃
My intention is to remain open to whatever experiences may come my way and learn all I can from them 🙏✨

See you in the dust )*(

went to @element11utah last month and only got this derpy photo of @helenaflowz and I, while @humpnate looks for our usb, before we played our 1.5hr set at my home hive of @cicadia_ut during our annual Bug Ball - it was my main goal this year to play this lil stage in front of some of my closest friends in this community that has accepted me for all my weird 🥰 we’d later play on top of @nudibranch.artcar , the cherry on top of my DJ debut for my fellow burners 🔥

all-in-all we didn’t get to actually burn this year due to the statewide drought and county fire ban, but I soak up as much playa magic as I can during the week, and leave my fruity tech brick in my car. These moments have become the most cherished part of my recent years living in Utah and I’m endlessly grateful for everyone who has been, and continues to be, a part of my experience 💖

This was my favorite Burn yet ❤️‍🔥

It was not without trials and tribulations. My health did not want to cooperate for most of the week, and yet, we persevered 💪

My intention wasn’t particularly specific. I only asked to be open to receiving whatever was meant for me, and I think I did a pretty good job of it

I have the BEST Burn fam ever 🥰

I played 5 sets - s/o @cicadia_ut, @nudibranch.artcar, & @sophistapirates

I taught a beautiful, trauma-informed improv dance workshop 💃

I co-managed the @cicadia_ut performance area with my co-lead and gold star partner @lore.slc

I spent more time exploring art installations with my humans and less time dancing on the speakers all night - I’m learning to work with this new body 🙏

I learned a lot about myself and my place in the world during this trip to Earth

Thank you to everyone that made this Burn so freaking magical ✨ I can’t wait to return to BRC for my second Big Burn in just over a month! 🥳
