Yesterday we got the keys to Swingbridge House and we couldn’t wait to get started on moulding this place into our home. The team @davidcosbyltd were so accommodating and made the exchange so easy. The welcome card was THE most apt card!! It’s exciting to visualise what it could become. We’re starting with just a little tidy up, getting used to how the space will work. If anyone is interested, I’ll try and use this page to document the progress, we have a LOT of plans which will keep us busy for a while yet! #notanotherrenovation #countryside #renovation @ciderminx

Another fantastic @tea_on_the_tailgate_northants meet, and this time at one of our locals @pistonsandrings

It was great to catch up with people - especially @ladyandherlandies, see loads of gorgeous dogs & different landies and meet new people - including @bob_the_landy at last!

Our highlights of the day - explaining our bonnet hinges to people (they hold our Hi-Lift Jack) and Lyca now being known as the ‘Woo-woo’ dog 🤦‍♀️ Honestly, she never gets this excited on other days out!

The food and drink at Piston & Rings is also great, so it’s worth a visit any day!

November ✨

A month full of truly brilliant reads! Those who know me well know that 5 star ratings are rare for me, yet this month I have had TWO 5 star reads ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One a scifi delve into a world with tea monks and robots, the other set in rural Ireland with a young girl feeling kindness and family love for the first time.

Yet, it hasn’t just been the reading that has made November a stunning month, it has been full of finding my feet in arranging events with amazing people.

HUGE love to @pipslibrary_ for being the best person to organise an event with, but for also just being the kindest and funniest friend too.

I don’t tend to show my face on here, or go far beyond the book reviews, but I’m feeling that Christmas love and being brave. November has definitely been a month for change and I am incredibly grateful to the friends who are supporting along the way.

Also, enjoy the monster (beautiful monster) of a tree that we picked up this weekend 🎄

Day 3 was an epic 8hrs on the road with only a short stop before finding our campsite near to the #falkirkwheel. Taking the scenic route through the highland and less travelled route through the forestry roads.
Last stop, day 4, was #thekelpies before heading for home. We’ve got putting the #landtrekker roof top tent up and down each day down to a fine art, and my knockoff Jet Boil is a game changer. #defender #rooftoptent

Day 2 of the Scottish tour and we made it to John O’Groats, 20 years to the day since paul was last there. Swift pint and on to #dunnetbaycaravanclubsite and despite it being the best weather Scotland might have this year….. it’s still a bit ‘fresh’!! 🤣#defender#scotland#rooftoptent

Day one of Paul’s 20th anniversary trip to John O’Groats via Loch Katrine. The Landy averaged 25mpg! Not bad for something shaped like a house brick! So far so good, until the midges joined the party. #offgrid #defender #scotland

WINTER SLAMDOWN: the games 🥇

Another slam down ticked off and completed and what a turn out! The summer games were popular but you guys smashed the winter games ! (Despite the cold and wet)

These events hold such a place in my heart. A real show up of community and people getting together and cheering on eachother for 2 hours of fitness fun 🤍

We are pushing things to the next level and we’ve got more exciting Slamdown stuff to come, including a tour 👀 new venues, new ideas and lots more fitness fun!

Hope you all had the best morning 🤍 thank you to all for turning up and working so hard, and as always huge thank you to my partner in crime @megafitpt 🤍
