I was a high-school dropout with no intention of ever having a specialized education. To me it was all just a piece of paper - conformity.

I love music - i’d say that writing it is how I am still alive today. So when I discovered that I could go be better at it - learn about how it all works and why certain melodies sounded right with no real knowledge on theory - I ran full steam at the opportunity.
In 2023, I took it upon myself to log back into school - get my diploma, and apply to Musicians Institute.

Life has a funny way of making things work if you work for them. You gotta do your part though. I kept it to myself mostly, only a few friends and family knew of these plans and I kept my mouth shut until the car was gassed up to move to Hollywood.

It was no easy feat, this is just a condensed version of it, trust there were many setbacks - moments of doubt.

I graduated second in my class yesterday. That’s fucking crazy.
Who would’ve thunk it?

I couldn’t have done it without the support of my family and the beautiful community that made it all worthwhile.

I’m sure i’ll see you soon, my dearest skid-mark row.

From the Summer 25’ archives // the episode where the first-born grandchild gets married…

For obvious reasons, this day was extra special. Mackenzie and I were born two weeks apart, and we’ve pretty much hit every major milestone in unison - up until this one. On this day, Mackenzie & Zack set the precedent (no pressure).

Luckily, their union is one that I admire deeply - and this day was a true reflection of the authenticity, growth, adventure, and love that exists within their partnership.

Mackenzie & Zack said they wanted this day to be as special for all of us as it was for them - and I can attest - it was just that. I’ll never forget it. 🤍 Cheers to the Stolls. 🥂
