Same player. Same test. 3 years later. 📈

This is why skating development is about more than just looking better.

Jonas went from 5.017 sec to 4.374 sec over 30 meters — an improvement of 0.643 sec / 12.8%.

Even more impressive:
His 10m split dropped from 2.153 → 1.815 sec.
That’s 15.7% faster acceleration.

And you can SEE where part of that improvement comes from.

2023 ➡️ higher skating position, higher recovery and limited dorsiflexion.

2026 ➡️ knee angle below 90°, better dorsiflexion and a much lower, more efficient recovery.

The skate returns to the ice earlier instead of spending unnecessary time in the air — creating a better position to produce force through the next stride.

The result?

30m: 5.017 → 4.374 sec
Avg. speed: 21.53 → 24.69 km/h
10m: 2.153 → 1.815 sec

Technique isn’t about making skating look pretty.

It’s about making every stride more efficient.

Train the details. Measure the results.
