Disney Theme wedding just to feel like a Disney Princess for a day. Psst! Actually the Groom who requested to have a “Frozen Theme” wedding. But we improvised to make it look magical, fairytale and a stunning wedding!

Added few Chinese element into the reception such as the Yam Send and the Lion Dance. In Chinese traditional wedding celebrations, there will always be some saying called “Yam Seng,” or “cheers” , that is a Cantonese term that literally means “drink to victory,” is often practiced in wedding celebrations to congratulate the groom for marrying his beloved woman. While for the lion dance it symbolises power, wisdom, and superiority. It is performed to bring prosperity and good luck to the newly wed.

To those who came, thank you for "Be our guest to our wedding” and sorry I couldn’t invite all due to limited/restricted no of pax due to COVID. Hope you guys understand.

Lastly, thank you to all my immediate and extended family members who helped me through out the events that we’ve planned. It was another successful and smooth event. Love you all 💕

I have waited for this moment for so long and I proud to say that I am finally a qualified dentist!⁣

𝐃𝐫 𝐘𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐝𝐮𝐰𝐨𝐥𝐞 ~ 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐲 (𝐁𝐃𝐒)⁣ 🎓

I honestly give Glory to God for bringing me through from beginning to the end. He was able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I asked or thought. To say that I am grateful is an understatement. ⁣
⁣
It has taken almost a decade to get to where I am and let me tell you blood sweat and TEARS have gone into getting this degree. It has definitely been a roller coaster journey to say the least!⁣
⁣
In 2012 I started my first day of work experience and had my heart set on becoming a dentist. 🦷⁣
In 2013 I applied and had my dreams shattered. I didn’t get in. I was close to giving up. 💔⁣
In 2014 I persevered, took a gap year and applied again, this time I made it in to dental school! 🎉⁣
In 2015 I started my first year at Plymouth and decided make my Youtube Channel to encourage others on their journey. 🎥⁣
In 2016 I immersed myself in university life made friends for life, joined different societies, started my eyebrow business and completed my first filling! 😆⁣
In 2017 I won the first Student Scholarship from the Afro-Carribean Dental Association. 🏅⁣
In 2018 I completed my Dental Elective in Ghana, one of the best experiences I’ve had. ✨⁣
In 2019 I won the Entrepreneurial Student of the Year at the Tooth wise Future of Dentistry Awards. 🏆⁣
in 2020 I won the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) Student of the Year and 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 got my degree! 😱⁣

Looking back at the entire journey I am incredibly proud of myself for how far I have come and also super proud my friends who have also graduated as dentists and stuck with me through the last five years. ⁣
⁣
I am eternally grateful to family and friends who supported me throughout. It is that belief that got me through some of my darkest moments. ♥️⁣
⁣
Thank you to all the people that I’ve met along the way through University, YouTube, Instagram, conferences and a BIG thank you the incredible artists for putting this together for me!

Looking forward to seeing what the next chapter holds 🥳
