“RIVERSIDE” out now! the first single of my second solo project, “Scorpio in Mars” ~

i wrote this one back in Sept 2023 in my uptown apartment when i had just come out as trans & was navigating my own self acceptance. it’s one of those songs you perform countless times, but never know when it’s quite right to record it for posterity - and now feels good. Hathor first saw me perform this song at a gig in Dec 2023 @bk_arthaus, and when I brought the song to them this summer to arrange, they, along with the rest of the @loriensound family, went above & beyond with capturing the nostalgia spiral amidst the city’s landscape.

i hope you can listen & know that you aren’t alone, and that often the answer toward moving towards your future lie in your past & present <3

I am overwhelmed with gratitude for and inspiration from every artist who lent their talents to this special show. It is an especially rare gift to be in a room with so many TGNC actors and artists at once, and I couldn’t be more proud of what we made together! 💙❄️✈️

“Just like that and I’m back”

I promised that even though my last chapter ended, the story wasn’t over. After a very long, grueling hiatus, I’ve finally came back to the place I love calling home, albeit a bit of a change of scenery from where I was previously. One thing that hasn’t changed is me specifically thanking a few individuals in this show.

🪽D’Khari: Oh how fun it was to watch you take on this role. You had a lot on your plate tackling this character who had so much depth to him. In the end, I believe you did such a phenomenal job, and I can’t wait for us to share the stage again.
🌹Rose: My dear Rose, I am so happy I got to be apart of your first theater experience, and I was so impressed by your performance. But doing this show with you was much more than just what happened on the stage. You have such a sweet soul and are undoubtedly one of my favorite cast mates I’ve ever had, and when you come back eventually, I look forward to matching with you and D’Khari.
Austin🪝: Sporting his famous flavor-saver, the Black Stache was my personal favorite character from the get go, and Austin was likewise one of my favorite cast mates behind the curtains. Not only do I feel like I learned so much watching you control the stage, but you were able to make me and other members of the cast feel so important. I am so looking forward to sharing the theater space with you again.
🇬🇧💫🏴‍☠️Dallas, Riley, Sierra: While nothing could top the bond I had with my fellow orphans, you guys were all such memorable parts of this whole process. All of you were not only fantastic in your roles, doing so much with each of them respectively, but also so fun to share a space with backstage, especially you Dallas. Whenever and wherever you guys take the stage next, I look forward to seeing what you brilliant actors can do.
⭐️And to EVERYONE, this show has meant so much to me. Whether you were a more seasoned actor giving me advice, or an ensemble member being a huge part of this show coming together, I LOVE and APPRECIATE you greatly.

And with that, this orphan has some pork and pineapple to dig into,

Yours Truly,
-Ted🍍
