I just want to say THANK YOU to @amberjessie7 for giving me a chance and trusting me to be part of I Almost Forgot. Seeing this project make it to the Chelsea Film Festival is an amazing feeling.

Our incredible actors in their final curtain call @secrettheatreny Queens Short Play Festival after performing Catherine LaMoreaux's comedy "We Love Our Town," a play about Facebook and its pitfalls. A mix of Dragonfly veterans and NYC actors new to our company, they rehearsed in both New Jersey and New York and made up one of the most cohesive, committed, and positive casts we've ever had. The audience laughed and laughed and were totally with them in their performances.

Because of their brilliant work, the festival awarded director Catherine LaMoreaux the Best Director Award. It was our first try at a play festival, and it was an overwhelming success.

We'll be announcing auditions for our next show this week. Stay tuned.

My cast killed it last night in their final performance for the Queens Short Play Festival. The audience laughed throughout.

Oh, and I won Best Director. The prize came with a check!

Thank you to all the incredible, talented actors who put so much time and effort into bringing my play to life! I can't imagine any other group could even come close to being as good as they were. I feel so lucky to have been able to work with all of them!

I also want to thank @secrettheatreny for putting on a wonderful festival! It was a fun way to spend the latter part of the summer, and a great introduction to play festivals.

On to the next production.

It all comes down to tonight: the finals of the Queens Short Play Festival. My play "We Love Our Town" is one of eight plays competing tonight for Best Play. We will only win if audience members vote for us. So come on out and vote! There are some wonderful plays besides ours that you're sure to enjoy. But vote for us!

Thank you to everyone who came to the early rounds and the semifinals! And thank you to the incredible actors who brought this story of Facebook arguments to life.

Come support this incredibly talented group of actors as they compete in the semi-final round of the Queens Short Play Festival. Audience votes will determine which plays go to the final round, so we need discerning and supportive people in the audience.

The play shows what happens on a town Facebook page including arguments, insults, and accusations. There are also misunderstandings created by misspelling, stuck keys, and frozen screens. It's a comedy.

Get your tickets now (see the link in comments) because it will sell out.
