Seven Saints: 8/10 Crab cakes: 8.5/10 The crab cakes were delightfully dense and crunchy on the outside, and smooth and rich on the inside. The sauce was tangy and had hints of mustard, which totally enhanced the crab cakes. Even the fruit on the salad was fresh and sweet! So much balance. So much love. Tomato bisque: 8/10 This may be the best bisque I’ve had yet. It was salty and rich, without being overpowering. I also love chunky soup, so this was perfect. A great dipping soup as well. Tuna melt: 6.5/10 While the bread was buttery and delicious, the tuna could have used some dill, capers, or just something acidic. Goat cheese salad: 8/10 Lots of textures and flavors that worked so well together. The crunchy walnuts, the sweet strawberries, and creamy goat cheese, and the tangy raspberry vinaigrette. The vinaigrette was thick, nicely coating the salad, but it’s possible they may have gone a lil ham on the goat cheese. Chocolate cake: 8.5/10 Wowowowow. The mousse, the oreo-like base, the crunchy delicious chocolate chips, the raspberry drizzle. The chocolate was semi-sweet and every bite felt decadent. The ice cream is also a MUST. Apple caramel fritter: 7/10 It was warm and comforting, and while I don’t love donuts, I can absolutely say that paired with vanilla ice cream this was amazing. I do wish the fritter was a bit crunchier, and that the oil in our little tin had flavor? Waiter Otto: 10/10 The nicest man I’ve ever met.
