“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Beyond proud of all your many accomplishments both on & off the field, & as always, we hold firm in what your future holds! We love you so very much!🧡🤍

June 29 has always been a special day for our family. My parents, Ralph & Gwen Williams, were married on June 29, 1962 at First Baptist Church, Lamesa, Texas.
My sister, Cheryl, & Brad were married on June 29, 1985 also at First Baptist, Lamesa. After they were officially married, my parents stood at the same altar where they were married and renewed their wedding vows on their 23rd anniversary.
My precious mom was diagnosed with cancer the following year, 1986, and passed away in 1988.
Jason & I were married on June 29, 1996 also at First Baptist, Lamesa. As our family celebrated our marriage, we knew our mom would have been overjoyed that we all shared June 29 as our wedding date.
With my Dad’s sudden passing on June 24, his memorial service needed to be held today on Monday, June 29 due to many circumstances.
So today while we are grieving deeply, we will also celebrate. We will celebrate Dad’s well-lived life as well as the memory of my mother. Cheryl & Brad celebrate 35 years of marriage. Jason & I celebrate 24 years of marriage. We will celebrate the legacy that Dad left through the 4 Cs (as our parents often called us): Cheryl, Chris, Curtis, & Cherise. We will celebrate Grandad/Pappaw with our children, his grandchildren. The grandkids each have so many wonderful memories to cherish.
We will celebrate the 27 years of marriage that Dad & Cindy had together. We are thankful for the way she loved our Dad so very much. Today we honor, as well as grieve with Cindy because she has truly been mother and Grandma/Mammaw to us and our children. She has embraced us and loved & cared for us as her own and we will continue to love, honor, and cherish her forever.
We will miss our wonderful Dad so very much but for those who are believers in our Lord Jesus, we rejoice in the blessed assurance of knowing we will be together again someday!

Our precious Daddy, Ralph, has gone home to be with the Lord. He passed away at home earlier today. His message to us would be “It is well with my soul”, and he’d want to make sure you could say the same thing! His eyes have always been fixed on Heaven & now he’s basking in God’s glorious kingdom. I can only imagine, & it’s evident to me again that my heart can hurt so bad & be so full of joyous assurance all at the same time. He lived a blessed life, & he left a wonderful legacy for us to continue. We will share arrangements once finalized. We wish we could hug & share sweet memories with you all in person. We pray you are all staying safe, healthy, & loving on those around you as much as you can! Love you all more than you know! 💟🙏🏼✝️
