I’ve been a little quiet on social media recently because my migraines have made their way back, and honestly, I needed to listen to my body and give myself some time to slow down and recover.

Living with hypermobility means I have to be mindful of how I train and how much strain I’m putting on my body. When my neck and surrounding muscles are working overtime to stabilise my joints, that tension can become one of the factors contributing to my migraines.

So, instead of pushing through, I’m focusing on physiotherapy, strengthening, stability and learning to move in a way that supports my body rather than constantly challenging it.

This little break has reminded me that resting isn’t falling behind. Sometimes, healing is part of the fitness journey too.

I’m slowly finding my way back, hopefully feeling stronger, healthier and more supported along the way.

The way @its_flying_k believed I would before me, even. Giiiwwrll!!! now to work on the “split” variation 👀

Shout out to my Chiro Kirst, my Physio @cindynel_physio and my stretch coach @barbracostas because my shoulders haven’t been in this range for years and now it feels like I’m building back the mobility and strength… bit by bit.

What a morning at the Gerald Fox Memorial Race! 🏅

A huge well done to everyone who took on the 10km and 21km.

A massive thank you to our marshals who gave up their morning to keep everyone safe and cheer our runners on. We couldn't do it without you!

Hyped for what’s ahead and everything this journey has taught me.
Big thanks to our coach @jateenbhana @strengthlabsa for the relentless push and next-level training… not sure if you were coaching or trying to kill us 😂
And to the team for showing up every single time…you all made it so much fun 🙌

Good luck to all our legends racing this weekend! 🔥

Whether you’re chasing a PB, soaking up the vibes, or just getting it done one step at a time — we’re behind you all the way. Trust the training, stay strong when it gets tough, and don’t forget to enjoy the moment.

We’ll be cheering loudly from the sidelines. Go out there and smash it, Flying Doughnuts! 🍩
