In a country marked by geographical and cultural diversity, contrast is inevitable.

These contrasts create space for different ways of thinking, living, and acting. And although they can be challenging to navigate, it is often where growth is found.

We don’t cater to the polished, perfected, or instantly gratifying.

We believe in processes that require honesty, openness, and vulnerability.

This weekend was a reminder of that. From visiting Doña Imelda’s home to learn how to make envueltos, to celebrating Dillan’s birthday, we were welcomed into moments that reminded us what true richness feels like.

Not richness in things, but in connection, community, and shared experiences.

We are grateful to those who open their homes and hearts and invite us into their world.

Casa Kandamy is a movement driven environment

What does this mean? We go beyond just offering a training space and equipment to incentivize movement for the body.

The layout of our rooms, lounges and coworking spaces also have this mission in mind.

One of our coworking areas, is a low raised table top. Our goal here is to offer a working environment which allows us to fully compress our bodies, which is an essential human movement pattern.

This is just one of our coworking spaces. We also offer traditional tables and desks but we also incentivize our guests to get creative with their working arrangements.

From our low laying desk, to our room desks and even using our plyometric boxes as a standing desks… we encourage it all.

After all, there is no perfect sitting or working arrangement / posture, the best one is the NEXT one.

Design your space for movement and you will flourish.

All for the doggos 🐶🥹🫶🏻

I found out about this sports day @banskostreetdogs was putting on to raise money for the dogs in Bansko literally the night before and it took all of 2 seconds for me and my friends to reschedule our entire weekend and commit to this kind of fun in the sun.

Nothing is better than fun with friends that’s also for a good cause!

✨Astrophotography 101👇🏻(for the dreamers + stargazers)✨

One of my favorite parts of traveling is looking up at the sky from somewhere new. If you’ve ever wanted to capture the stars, here’s a little starter guide:

📸 1. Use a tripod. Even the steadiest hands can’t hold still long enough for star shots.
⏱️ 2. Long exposure. Start around 15–20 seconds. Any longer and the stars will start to trail. (maybe that’s what you’re going for 👀)
🌌 3. Wide open aperture. Think f/2.8 or lower — you want as much light as possible.
🌠 4. High ISO. Don’t be afraid of ISO 1600–3200. Grain is better than darkness. (This could be much higher or lower depending on your camera so play around)
🧭 5. Find dark skies. The further from city lights, the more magic you’ll capture. We were pretty close to Bansko here so I photographed facing away from the town and it worked great!

And most importantly—take a second between shots to just look up. Sometimes the best part of astrophotography is remembering how tiny we are under all that sky!
