In 1984, artist and playwright Dr. Phyllis Yes, did something unprecedented. She took a silver 1967 Porsche 911S and painstakingly covered its body in intricate, flesh-toned lace rosettes.

The result was "Por-She" a stunning dialogue between delicate handwork and engineering precision. Exhibited in New York and driven across the country, it remains a monumental exploration of female identity and automotive power.

At DRIVEN, you will have a rare opportunity to experience "Por-She" and hear its story directly from Phyllis before the work enters its next museum chapter.

This was one of those events we were especially proud to be part of. ✨

Serving 130 guests for an important community milestone meant a lot to our team. Getting to take care of everything from cocktail hour through dinner and bar service made it even more rewarding.

That’s a wrap! What an event! 🎉🎉
The Astoria Column Centennial was everything we wanted it to be - exciting, fun and community-driven. It was such a thrill to see people come together to honor this magnificent monument and symbol of history and hope.
The downtown festival provided 5 hours of music, food, crafts and cultural booths.
The rededication ceremony atop Coxcomb Hill with the Mulan Chinese Drum Team and the North Coast Symphonic Band was nothing short of magical. 🪄✨✨
Thank you to all of our guests, sponsors and partners - it took a village to pull this off and that we did! Here’s to the next 100 years and beyond! 💯💯💯✨✨

Happy 100 year birthday @theastoriacolumn ! You have seen a lot of history in this town. Watched over through storms and sun, good days and bad. Here’s to 100 more!

What a privilege to decorate the newly renovated @lumlodge (formerly Masonic Temple). First event open for such a historic day is a big deal! Congrats! It’s beautiful inside and out! Decorating our column in the lobby feels like the crown jewel.

If you want to see a complete transformation of a city space, that's just one more reason to attend Astoria Column's Centennial Celebration in downtown Astoria at the Heritage Square parking lot. Cindy Thompson Events can take anything and create a magical space and she did this with the help of so many, - for the finishing touches, the fun stuff on these tents, she worked with the fabulously creative local store Cargo. A tents a tent, until you put together gorgeous ceiling decor made of multicolor, Chinese lanterns. That's a design transformation! ✨✨✨

More of that detail, and unlimited fun tomorrow with food, music, crafts, cultural history exhibits.
The day is almost finally here to gather and celebrate the magnificent Astoria Column! 🎉🎉🌟🌟

Saturday, July 18
11am-4pm
Downtown Heritage Square
Free shuttles start at 1pm up to the 2:00 Rededication ceremony up at the Column.

Thank you @chamill3152 and #portlandfirewnba for the best night Portland has shown me. The energy was electric, the crowd had more fun than any I’ve seen at a game, and the team went blow for blow with the league champions right down to the buzzer 💯. Who knew women’s basketball would be the thing to light Portland’s fire? 🔥
