Page filled in a very last min opening for an AC on @thirst_trap.mov and I will say, amidst a really challenging project as a first time director, I felt like having Page on our team was a total gift from the forces that be. Grateful for you @cine.zet

Toni Morrison once said “This is precisely the time when artists go to work. There is no time for despair, no place for self-pity, no need for silence, no room for fear.”
That said, I’m choosing to lean into my art and celebrate and empower other creatives. ❤️

We recently wrapped filming of our short film, EMERGENCY CONTACT this past weekend and I am filled gratitude and so honored to have worked with such a skilled & kind group of people!

@sheistyler and I put our hearts into the development of this story and the everyone involved with bringing it to the screen handled it with so much care.

Producing + being one of the lead’s parent has been a very singular and humbling experience. But I was in awe, undone, tickled, deeply emotional, impressed, and taken aback by my daughter Sky’s performance and her presence on set!

@emergencycontact_short is a timely story about a deeply Southern experience and having childlike faith to weather the storms of life.

Our crew is composed of Baton Rouge and New Orleans locals and all of our departments are women-led.

Southern stories should be told by Southern filmmakers and our goal is to continue to do exactly that.

We are currently raising funds, every dollar helps us pay our crew and cover post-production costs (editing, color, sound, visual effects, film fest expenses, etc.)

this song was tough to write - i hadn’t come to terms with my fear of abandonment for a long time, and once i did, it took over me. and once that fear came true, the anxiety and panic and tears…they didn’t live forever.

i hope you love it like i do. EP soon🫰

here’s a bit of the story behind “scorpions don’t live forever” 🦂⚡️ i had to confront some big fears while writing this one…but i realized once they came true, it wasn’t the end of the world, and what feels insurmountable doesn’t always have to be.
