Mackenzie “Mack” is the main female protagonist of Disney’s Teen Beach Movie (2013), portrayed by Maia Mitchell. McKenzie is a surfer who is very passionate about it. She loves spending time surfing and hanging out with her boyfriend, Brady. She also does not seem to be a fan of musicals. McKenzie is a smart and confident girl with a competitive side. Mack is really passionate about surfing. She can also be very serious when she needs to be. Mack's workaholic aunt wants her to leave for a prestigious boarding school/private college to fulfill a promise made to her late mother. Mack feels torn between following her own heart (surfing and staying with Brady) and sticking to her life plan, Mack is serious about it and is focused on getting home.
