🎬 VETTAM (2004) | A CHAOTIC COMEDY CLASSIC

Directed by Priyadarshan, Vettam is a Malayalam screwball comedy starring Dileep and Bhavana, backed by a stellar ensemble cast featuring Jagathy Sreekumar, Innocent, Kalabhavan Mani, Cochin Haneefa, Nedumudi Venu and many more.

The story follows a petty thief who steals a valuable necklace and accidentally gets caught up in the life of Veena, a woman searching for her fiancé. What follows is a hilarious chain of misunderstandings, mistaken identities, romantic complications and perfectly timed comic chaos.

The song from Khalifa has a raw, energetic and deeply rooted vibe, blending powerful beats with a traditional Middle Eastern–Malabar flavour. Its hypnotic rhythm, catchy vocal phrases and intense musical arrangement create a mysterious and celebratory atmosphere, while the visuals add to the larger-than-life world of the film. Rather than feeling like a typical commercial song, it carries a distinctive street-and-cultural energy that makes it instantly memorable and gives the track a strong cinematic identity.
