I created this asset by following a tutorial by Cinematic Cookie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mA34NvA-reU.
I am currently using Blender 5.0, so I used a tutorial by Michael Bridges to recreate the Bloom effect for the Asset since it has been replaced with Ray-Tracing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_OlXyyMIW0.

It started as a challenge by Ge-man Entertainment.
We were given a drink, the keyword "hero", and complete creative freedom. Here’s what happened. 😄⚡
Not a commercial - just a creative experiment in the form of an action short. 🎬

🎤 Director Andreas Durr talks to us about his film “Fragments”:
It is a 7-minute 3D animated short that explores the near-death experience of a mountain climber.
The film guides viewers through a landscape of fragmented memories, featuring digitally reconstructed objects and real family members that anchor the story in a deeply personal, experiential reality.

A Paint brush macro animation created entirely in Blender 🖌️ 🎨

This is my second project from my third week learning this 3D wizardry.

I must have spent anywhere from 8-12 hours creating this one from scratch. I did make a fair amount of mistakes and had some major setbacks in the midst of it.. But I learned a lot correcting all the issues, and that made finally seeing the end product that much sweeter! 😌

I do want to give a HUGE shoutout to @dropandrender, this took around 2 hours to render out using their Render Farm which would have taken me around 30 hours to render out otherwise. Absolute game changer! 👌

@cinematiccookie also deserves a huge shoutout for the epic tutorial 👉
