Rebekah Mikaelson is one of the most loved characters in The Vampire Diaries because she’s both powerful and deeply emotional. She’s an Original vampire, fierce, sarcastic, confident, and dangerous, but underneath all of that, she really just wants love, loyalty, and a normal human life. She can be cruel and jealous one moment, then incredibly caring and vulnerable the next. A lot of her pain comes from her complicated relationship with her brother Klaus Mikaelson, who constantly controlled her life and ruined many of her chances at happiness.

Tangled is Disney’s animated retelling of the Rapunzel fairy tale, released in 2010. It mixes fantasy, adventure, comedy, and romance, but one of the reasons people connect with it so much is because the story is really about freedom, identity, and growing up.
The movie follows Rapunzel, a princess with magical long hair who has been locked in a tower her entire life by Mother Gothel. Gothel pretends to protect her, but actually keeps her isolated so she can stay young using Rapunzel’s magic hair. When Rapunzel meets Flynn Rider, she finally leaves the tower and starts discovering the world and herself.
