🇵🇱 Dziś dla odmiany wędrujemy nad morze, do miasteczka o nazwie Vernazza. Położona w Ligurii, w prowincji La Spezia, zachwyca kolorowymi pastelowymi kamienicami, które schodzą wprost do niewielkiego portu i szmaragdowego Morza Liguryjskiego.

Port i Piazza Marconi to zdecydowanie serce miasteczka. Tętniący życiem plac otoczony kawiarniami i restauracjami, tuż przy malowniczej przystani, gdzie kołyszą się tradycyjne, kolorowe łódki.

Kościół św. Małgorzaty Antiocheńskiej (Chiesa di Santa Margherita di Antiochia): charakterystyczna świątynia z XIV wieku położona tuż przy samym brzegu morza. Jej wysoka dzwonnica z elegancką kopułą to jeden z najbardziej rozpoznawalnych elementów panoramy Vernazzy.

Zamek Doria (Castello Doria): średniowieczna forteca wznosząca się na skalistym cyplu ponad miastem. Warto wspiąć się na cylindryczną wieżę, skąd rozpościera się powalający, 360-stopniowy widok na całe wybrzeże i okoliczne tarasy winne.

🇬🇧 Today, for a change, we are traveling to the seaside, to the town of Vernazza. Located in Liguria, in the province of La Spezia, it delights with colorful pastel tenement houses that go straight down to a small port and the emerald Ligurian Sea.

The port and Piazza Marconi are definitely the heart of the town. A lively square surrounded by cafes and restaurants, right by the picturesque marina where traditional, colorful boats rock.

Church of St. Margaret of Antioch (Chiesa di Santa Margherita di Antiochia): a characteristic 14th-century temple located right on the seashore. Its high bell tower with an elegant dome is one of the most recognizable elements of Vernazza’s panorama.

Doria Castle (Castello Doria): a medieval fortress rising on a rocky headland above the town. It is worth climbing the cylindrical tower, from where there is a stunning, 360-degree view of the entire coast and surrounding wine terraces.
