One knee isn’t mine. So what keeps me in the saddle? 🐎

Riding takes core stability more than raw strength: abs and back steady you while your hips move with the horse. Inner thighs keep your knee against the saddle. On my prosthetic side, that grip comes from the muscles above the socket. Glutes hold the pelvis and soak up each stride.

Stance is everything in sport shooting, and mine’s built differently. As an above-knee amputee, I manage a full prosthetic knee and socket, not just a foot. Rebuilding balance and follow-through took work. The result? Getting steadier on the range every time. 🎯
