Eighteen days before our wedding, I finally saw her. 🤍

My dress had just come back. My hair and makeup trial with Kaddy and Portia had come together beautifully. And standing in front of that full-length mirror, I finally saw the whole picture.

I felt like a bride.

Then the veil went on and somehow it all started feeling real.

We took these portraits on September 30, 2025, with October right around the corner. I remember feeling excited, grateful and honestly just proud of the woman I was becoming.

Stephanie made it so easy to settle into the moment. She made me laugh, encouraged me and even showed up with the bouquet after I’d been scrambling to find one myself. Such a small thing, but I still remember how cared for I felt.

Looking back, I wish I could tell this version of me:

You’re going to get your moment to take it all in. To put the planning down. To be the bride. To receive the love.

There will be waves ahead, but you’re in God’s hands.

You’re safe, beautiful. You can be fully yourself. 🤍 #BlackBride #BridalPortraits #BlackBrideMagazine #MunaluchiBride #bridalinspiration
