Some sessions hit different

I love watching my little brother I never had, @brycebutlerdrums, lay down drums for a new @circuitofsuns track… it reminded me how far he’s come.

I’ve had a front row seat to this chapter… from the decision to move up here to seeing him chase what he loves with everything he’s got. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Can’t wait for everyone to hear what was worked on. Grateful to be part of the journey

2023 Annual personal summery report. There's always a positive and negative takeaway. Unexpected bends in the road. Loss. Challenges. All we can do is move on, learn from mistakes and enjoy the ride.

This year I traveled to some new territories with HIRAX such as Peru, Chile and Colombia. Additionally we played a handful of one off's in Mexico City, Los Angeles, Lakeport, Port Hueneme, Santa Ana California. Norwich, New York and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We even tracked a new record which will be released sometime in 2024. I also had the opportunity to help out @phobiagrindcore and @cephaliccarnage for some killer festivals. It was great reuniting with these groups and catching up with friends and fans.

2023 Personal Releases with @morgue_supplier
@circuitofsuns @languageofflowersband.

Singles
-Morgue Supplier "Dead In Spirit"
-Morgue Supplier "A Life Extinguished"
-Circuit Of Suns "Anathema"

Albums
-Language Of Flowers "s/t"

Last but not least......my wonderful girlfriend Jenny Gordon and I moved into a small house together located in a nice quiet neighborhood. We have been together for 2 1/2 years now and I can quite honestly say it's been the easiest and smoothest relationship to date. A true partner. There has been so much growth this year. Thanks to my family for making every year awesome!

There is a lot of exciting stuff in the works for next year musically. Lots of surprises. I am grateful for each and every one of you and I hope you all have a fruitful 2024. 🥁 Happy New Year!

Super stoked and honored to be featured alongside my friends and many talented drummers. Thank you @sickdrummermag & @circuitofsuns! Link for list and article in my bio. ⬆️

"Sick Drummer Magazine’s Favorite Drumming Albums of 2023! Our team has gone back and forth and has decided on these releases. They are NOT in any particular order of most to least or least to most favorite. Just a list alphabetized by the drummer’s first name… there is no best album or drummer, just what our team enjoyed collectively."
