i've uploaded the recording of my set at @miscellania_ , my first time ever playing in Melbourne / Naarm, as part of Miscellania's Mutation series.

Rolling, deep, evolving 160-170 BPM - one of my favorite sets I've played to date!! This one is deep and slow-crawling and atmospheric like spores in the air, with moments of hypnotic tropical ecstasy to unearth. Lots of druidstep, low end psy, autonomic dnb, grey area dnb, IDM, drill n bass, techno, dubstep, breakcore, whatever you wanna call it.

I got to play a lot of new music that's been influencing my upcoming 4th album, and to do it in this space was insane. Can't wait to do this again in LA and for the rest of the gigs this year.

To gush about Australia a bit: I was so amazed with how locked-in the crowd was. Definitely the biggest crowd I've played out to outside of America, and one of the biggest and most fun I've played to ever. I'm so glad I got to meet so many people, I felt a freedom to move the room that I normally don't feel, and I'm proud to say the people of Australia have helped me with a lot of new confidence in this direction. If you were dancing in the front of me on the other side of the CDJs, I love you. Thank you to everyone who showed wonderful hospitality for my first time in this country. So much love to everyone in Hobart and Brisbane who came out to my sets on this tour presented by @soft_centre too. Thank you thank you thank you for inviting this filipino american boy over 🇵🇭

Listen to and download the recording at the link in my bio, tracklist is up too

Thank you @thejozefwhite and @cavoleary for the videos

OUT NOW‼️
Sick7- Warp&Weft 😷🪡☢️
digital dubstep / uk bass / noir-step / hyper-synthetic / experimental

"Warp&Weft" unspools so quickly it's hard to digest with one listen. Dubstep debutant Sick7 zigzags between stinging drops, halftime outros and waves of textured noise. Digital spasms drive the frenzy, leaving brief breaths between the beat switches. Tracks freely bleed into one another, stitched together into one continuous listen.

The album ends with a feverish ragequit, followed by 3 futuristic remixes from the 00effort extended family: Circular Square's airy roller, Undrwght's wobbly two-switch DJ tool and Ultrascope's dense, punchy rework with extatic trance stabs each pull the chaotic energy somewhere new. 🩻🧵🩻

Album out everywhere except spotify 🫶
Remixes out on bandcamp + soundcloud for now 💭

Huge thanks to @strktur.jadelabel and @nu_kvlture for the premieres!
