Come with us for a packed Friday at @randrcircus 🎪
It's my second year going to Rock n Roll circus and it never disappoints. What's not to love music and circus acts! It was typical British weather as it rained all day 🙄 (especially after several heatwaves this summer), but we didn't let that stop us 🌧

It was a fantastic show between the artists - @thestreetsofficial__ @babyshamblesuk @antonyszmierek @megarobbie @hakbaker @julietpricethomas @misslillymusic @khakikid
@lfay.uk and the circus performers - @tasharushbrooke @duoplicity.circus (acrobatics/handbalancing), @ellisgrover (tightrope), @rosieandadam (skating), @llucyintheskywithdiamonds_ and @ameliainthecloudsx (cloud swinging), @sassycollyns_circus and @chloe.commins (aerial hoops), @andosonfire and @gem.steria (fire), @nat_lunatrick (ringmaster), @circusfreya (counterweighting & lunging)! Hopefully we haven't forgotten anyone 🤞

Last training session @unit15creationspace with @girl_on_a_rope ! Thank you so much to the team @invisible.circus this space has been so crucial to me in recent years, from training with friends, working with coaches, trying new ideas at scratch nights, working on my show, watching shows, teaching and attending workshops…
We’re losing this crucial cultural space as part of a gentrification shift in central Bristol. But watch this space because circus is good at being resourceful and creative problem solving…

Aerial harness, yes please!

Something I’ve been doing for over 10 years and something I would like to be doing more of!

Starting out with the @invisible.circus at iconic Carny Ville, to developing as an aerial team with @arcadia for 10 years and going on a world tour with the Spider show, to unique crane acts with @incandescence_circus, to more recently wall running at the opening ceremony at @boomtownfairofficial and to the beautiful soul warming “Welcome to the Future” show @unit15creationspace. All have been beyond amazing experiences and I want to do more….

I’m looking for more harness performance work wether it be wall running, harness dance or hanging off a crane, i want to fly!

Putting the intention out there and looking for recommendations for gigs and companies to approach. As well as professional development master classes/workshops.

Welcome to mediocre roping 🤡 still getting used to the new apparatus, she’s so pretty though @circusfreya did the best job! I figured out that I could connect the back drop with the fun new to me openish drop into catchers and combine it with the second spinning sequence from @millikitten but trying to shove it all into 15ft was a struggle and then spinning the rope was a struggle 😂 so here’s all the cut up bits! Cheers to @dallasmalexander for the super spin that messed me up the rest of the day 😆 add it to the list of things to improve on #cordelisse #aerial rope #cuerdalisa

My music video for HOUSE (2011) by Cool Fun is screening at @londonshortfilmfest on January 20th 18.30 at @icalondon

This screening celebrates London Short Film Festival’s 20th anniversary, featuring a selection of short form work screened at LSFF over the years. Proud to be showing work alongside my friends and peers @cnoakley @herronthatkate @ruthpaxton @deborellahollywood @runyararo_m @lunacarmoon Nida Manzoor and more.

HOUSE was made on a budget of £160 and went on to win a UKMVA amongst other awards. Shot in an abandoned house in East Ham with some very brilliant collaborators. Music by Cool Fun (@maximumyang and @sarahjohnsmusicparty)

⚠️RIGGING UPDATE ⚠️ - one for our members…

The bi-annual rigging inspection of the space is complete 👍

This means that all of the rigging has been thoroughly checked, replaced where needed, and re-rigged. Every little item has been safety checked and approved 🧐

All is safe and good to go, but we're letting you know as some things might have been put back ever so slightly differently, so if it feels odd, you'll know why.

If anything has been put back in a way that doesn't feel right when practicing let the team know and we can adjust as needed. Everything is safe, it just might need adjusting to suit how it is used in the space.

Any questions around rigging (now and always, anytime) do get in touch and we can connect you with Centre Manager Rich or Wim… the ones in the team with the rigging wisdom!

Thanks to @circusfreya and Kino for all the work 🙌🏽 and to @annaerial_ for jumping in to help out! 🧡
