Clowns and Queens, don your finest noses and break out your Sunday best, 👗 Church of Clown is celebrating the beauty and frivolity of life with its second annual ✨Flop Fest. Spanning 6 weeks from September 13 - October 20 Flop Fest features an eclectic collection of International and Bay Area artists, movers, and dreamers. Featuring: @theartibus 🐦 Molly M. Shannon 🔮 James Donlon ✨ @foggynotionphysicaltheatre 🐸
@circusnikolas 🚂 @car2_d2
.
Come commune with the sacred fools and loose yourself, if only for an evening, 🤩in the rapture of the ridiculous with any of the experimental and eccentric performances offered, or fully immerse yourself in the divine dance of the absurd with a full festival pass and become 💘 born anew in the fold of the fool.

Church of Clown was founded to carry forth the 🕯️ eternal cause of the Clown, and to carry forward the light of laughter for a weary world. Join our cause, and find the salvation you seek 🧎🏽‍➡️at San Francisco’s second annual Clown Festival: Flop Fest. Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday evening at 8pm from September 13 - October 20. 🎟️ See you soon!

@churchofclown is one of my favorite venues anywhere, largely due to the awesome folks running it - like this absolute legend: @danogriffiths
Thanks Dan for supporting us weirdos for all these years!
🎪🤡💥
And if you want to support Dan and the Bay Area clown community, come out to #flopfestival Sept 13-Oct 20, including my latest show on Oct 11, 12, & 13.

From @piccolozoppe shows back in 2019 (though looking like 1919).
Huge love to my classical circus family, including @johnjwalther and @suzclown who are some of the best and biggest-hearted clowns I know!

I recommend seeing Piccolo Zoppe shows anytime, anywhere. It's time travel, and balm for the soul.

One of my favorite shots from #BurningMan 2023. The #sunrises were incredible. Next year I'll need to invest in a dust proof rig.
