I’ve recently been feeling sad about ‘must have’ pieces that everyone leapt on and promptly abandoned 😢 as the next ‘must have’ item rolled into our feeds and wormed into our brains 🧠

Leopard print trousers were one of those items 🐆

The fact that everyone has moved on was really putting me off mine, which was annoying me because I really like these trousers 🤎

I realised I just needed to reframe them in my mind, and restyle them 👌🏼

I worked out that I wanted to turn their volume down, so I’m simply neutralised them 😑

I took a similar approach to the pink pair I shared last week 🌸

A day at Great Ormond Street is never just a day of medical appointments ❤️🏥
Yesterday, Roxy had an ultrasound of her urinary system before seeing the urology team, and we couldn’t have asked for better news. Everything is looking really positive and the team have no concerns beyond the challenges we already know about (small issue of her bladder being on the outside of her body 🤦‍♀️). The next step is discussing when surgery will take place, so now we wait... anxiously, but hopefully.
This is our life. This is our reality. Hospital appointments, scans, consultations and uncertainty. But it’s also family adventures, making memories, and finding joy wherever we can.
After our appointments, we explored Camley Street Natural Park, wandered around Coal Drops Yard, treated Roxy to a new pink ball (which she absolutely loves 💕 Thanks @cissywears ), and finished the day with our family favourite—pizza and pasta at @pizzaexpress 🍕✨
People often ask us how we do it. The answer is simple: we make the most of every moment of normality we get. We celebrate the good news, treasure the ordinary days, and keep making memories together.
