Kennedy Yanko’s “Ce qui nous rassemble” is now open at the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine, her first institutional solo show in Paris.

Fourteen new sculptures dance among plaster casts of Gothic churches from across France. Yanko pours paint into skins, then drapes, folds, and knots them over salvaged steel. Soft grips hard. Liquid holds still. Cathedral stone meets scrapyard metal, and both come out changed.

“I’m thinking about the atomic quality of the work at all times. I’m transmitting my intention onto the piece, creating that moment of atomization, that moment where both things come together.”

On view through January 3, 2027. Presented with Salon 94 and Norr Cohan.
