On Friday, September 25, 2026, Bikini Kill’s tour came to a joyous end at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, NY. The influential band was supported by Lambrini Girls, who performed a free outdoor show the previous day.

I covered the sold-out show for Bowery Presents and that gallery is now live on “The House List.”

I finally caught Turnstile for the first time last night at Forest Hills Stadium and just wowwwwww. 💣💣💣 They shared a bill with two terrific openers - Clipse and julie. So freakin' good!

Most bands get smaller, tougher and tighter as you try to make them hold. You don’t have control of the tension which is where the stress, pulling and headaches one from. Bungees are the opposite of that because you adjust the tension to your comfort. In my experience, Bungees are Better. #hairpinsbydamianmonzillo® #bungeesarebetter Now Available on Amazon!

Simplicity is able to happen when you have the right tools and knowledge. That’s what I’m working to do with my line! Also, strong hold and painless application!

After 3 decades of working in each area of the hair industry the common problem were the lack of strong and varied pins and bands. This is the only professionally curated line in the world! Less pins, bands equals more time and less worry/ money spent on useless tools. Everything is reusable, recyclable and renewable! This is only the beginning of the REVOLUTION!! #hairpinsbydamianmonzillo®
