Last Saturday proved what I already believed, strangers can become friends in a single evening.

All it takes is the right room … or rooftop

Next one coming soon

Life turns & sometimes we meet new people in old places or we come to a new place to make new memories with new people, like Nate did from Arizona to Chicago. ✨ With a dream of meeting 1000 Chicagoans, Nate created a community, which started on a rooftop with 7 of us in May & continued this past weekend on another rooftop, co-hosted by @happyeatshealthy & Dave & coordinated with @sarahchah & featuring @mushmush.wav as the guest artist. We came together to connect as strangers who started a joinery to friendship after a few hours of meaningful conversations. ✨ These are just a few moments I captured as a visual storyteller to share the experience & memories. ✨ In this fast paced world where meaning tends to be lost in translation via texts and social media, brining people together to have real life experiences in person by getting everyone out of the group chat over dinners at sunset can be transformative. Thank you for having me & for the opportunity to learn more about myself & about all of you. 🫶

It's @chicago_gourmet weekend! Hamburger Hop was delicious. Nafsi and Bistronomic were show stoppers but I'm definitely going to @burgeralleychi for dinner soon.

Feeling loved this weekend, connecting with so many friends at River North Fest, brunch, Logan Square Farmers Market, West Fest, and soooo glad I hit at least the end of Michelle and Angel's wedding. 💜
