POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

For the past seven years, I honestly can’t remember the last time I stood in front of a camera, positioned myself, and actually took the time to look good for a shoot. 🥹❤️

I’ve spent years behind the camera, directing people, telling them what to do, asking them to pose this way and that way, all in a bid to create beautiful memories for them.

But today felt different.

For once, I got to experience what I usually make other people do. I got to see myself from another person’s point of view, and honestly, it felt so good! 🥹✨

Now, let’s see what becomes of this little behind-the-scenes creation because, baby, the way I woke up and got dressed just to make this shoot happen needs to be studied. 😂😭

My videographer @blck_success and I were both exhausted before the shoot even started. The creative life has been dealing with us lately! No sleep, just ideas, work, and trying to bring visions to life.

At some point, we just looked at each other like, “You know what? Put on the wig, wear the dress, and let’s get this done!” 😂

And that’s exactly what we did. We showed up tired and created anyway.

Because sometimes, you don’t wait until you feel ready or have all the energy in the world. Sometimes, you just show up and trust the process.

So, let’s see what comes out of this one. 🥂✨

From being the one behind the camera to becoming the subject in front of it. A little reminder that creatives deserve to be seen, too. ❤️📸
