Last Friday, on a warm October evening, friends, family, and supporters gathered in a beautiful New Jersey garden to celebrate the launch of Flowerprint: The Wild, Wonderful World of Botanical Dyeing!

This book has been a labor of love, and sharing its arrival with the community that has supported, encouraged, and lifted me up along the way was truly magical. I can't express how grateful I am to everyone who came out to mark this special moment.

The evening was a joyful expression of all things floral, colorful, and creative, made possible by so many wonderful people. Gorgeous floral creations by @wildlyfloral.co wine generously provided by @lumscellars and @bonhomiewines, delicious food by my partner in love and life @alaindebeaufort and music by the one and only @jamesfthrone Photos by the incredible @lisawhitemanlens

A huge thank you to @daniellemariemasters & @thomas_the_dj for opening their gorgeous garden and making the evening possible.

And, of course, endless gratitude to the wonderful team at @timberpress and @hachetteusa for helping bring Flowerprint into the world. Last but not least @day19 for the photography.

#sundayvibes One of my favorite things to do on Sundays, is to sit out back in my yard and throw back a few cold ones while I relax. I reflect on the past week, plan out the week ahead, and just unwind. It ain’t much, but it’s my little paradise.

Not much thought put into today’s outfit. My favorite jeans from @fitted.underground some Birks on the feet Tank from a brewery in Puerto Rico @oceanlabbrewingco and hat from @lastwavebrewing 🙌🏽. Beer in hand from @wetticketbrewing What more can a man ask for. Cheers everyone 🍻

Yesterday, we took a trip to the city for some much needed away time from the normal everyday routine. Despite only living an hour or so outside the city, it always feels like I’m in another world every time I visit. So many sights and sounds, it’s almost overwhelming at times. One of the things I love most about NYC, are the vast array of people you encounter. Now I’m not into all styles of fashion, but I can appreciate the uniqueness in all the different types. It’s almost like an ever ending runway of unique styles around every corner. You really never know what you’re going to encounter.

Now, I wasn’t necessarily looking for anything in particular, but I have been looking for a relaxed pair of light wash selvedge denim, so when I came across the perfect pair of @levis 501’s, I had to have em’. I’m very particular of my style with jeans, usually going with a slim straight fit, so I wasn’t sure how they’d look. Man I fell in love as soon as I put em’ on. So rightfully so, they are now in the rotation.

As for the fit, of course I had to go with my @fitted.underground D12’s and some trusty Chucks. Up top, a @costco performance tee and topped off with an unstructured ball cap. Yes, it was hot. Hotter than satan’s nutsack to be exact. And yes I wore a tee with all sorts of synthetic material. Say what you want, but no cotton tee on the planet would’ve held up against all the sweat the way this moisture wicking fabric did. The “vintage style guys” can cry about it 😅.

What an amazing day well spent full of fun and adventure. Until next time NYC 🙌🏽
