Thank you Jesus for this amazing game.

Football has been a part of my life since I was four years old, and 19 years later it’s finally time to hang it up.

I gave everything I had…pushing myself to the limit every day. Six surgeries in five years left a lot of scars, but these scars are evidence of God’s faithfulness. They tell a story of Him, of His goodness, and of all the amazing people who walked with me through every season. Until I meet Jesus face to face, still bearing His scars, I’ll wear mine as trophies.

More than anything, it’s the relationships that make this game what it is. They kept me in the fight and reminded me why I played. I’ll cherish these moments and these people forever. God blessed me with more than I could’ve ever asked for through the game of football, and I’m truly grateful for every single opportunity.
