2 weeks, 40 students, 100ft+ of wheel chair ramps, staircases, and porches, one life forever changed.

It was such an honor to spend the first half of my summer working on staff with Ozark Mission Project helping to lead students in bettering local Arkansas communities through building wheelchair ramps for those in need. I’m so incredibly grateful for the people I got to meet this week and the friendships we formed, I will never forget the lessons yall have taught me. From my incredible coworkers to my students, it has been incredible to grow alongside you. These past weeks have been insane and exhausting, from assessing to designing to building to judging dance competitions, it’s a job that never ends. Yet, I’ve seen so many incredible things happen because of it, and I’m so grateful for these past few weeks! See you next summer!

3 porches, 7 ramps, 18 neighbors and projects, 88 community builders, 3 weeks.

i am so beyond grateful that i got to serve for and with so many amazing people this summer at omp. each week had its challenges, but each challenge was an opportunity for growth. this summer has left a lasting impact on my life, my faith, and my love for service. i feel so blessed that i have been able to work on this team of incredible college staff, serving so many neighbors and impacting the lives of so many community builders from all across arkansas (and texas.) im so sad that it’s over, but so excited to return next summer! 💙🔨
