A recap of Self Mastery: Breaking Beyond the Spectacle, an exhibition by Chicago-based multidisciplinary artist and designer Brandon Breaux. Through quilts, paintings, photography, and new media, Breaux explores identity, culture, and the personal growth behind breaking while celebrating Boston’s rich breaking and hip-hop history. It was dope for our team to work with Brandon and be part of bringing this experience to life. Looking forward to continuing the experience with our upcoming sound bath on October 29, 2026! 📸: @koolaidgeorge 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒: @artsinboston #SelfMastery #BrandonBreaux #FamilyFleaMarket #Boston #unmonument

In a world of chaos and destruction, A Better Tomorrow is more than an event. It’s a space for young adults to connect, create, and explore new possibilities for their future. Hosted by Family Flea Market, this invite only experience celebrates local creativity and the people behind it. We’re featuring creative artists Sun Bangas, Tomo, Flowrbomb, and Germbot, bringing together a community of creatives to share their work, stories, and perspectives. Guests will experience a gallery showcasing local artwork, an artist panel and Q&A exploring the journeys, challenges, and creative processes behind the work, and hands on workshops led by local creatives. With food, drinks, and opportunities to connect, there’s something to take away from every part of the experience. Our goal is to inspire young adults to embrace their creativity, discover new opportunities, and feel excited about what their future can hold. EVENT DETAILS Date: October 24, 2026 Time: 3 PM to 6 PM Hosted by: Family Flea Market This is an invite only event, but if you’re interested in attending, send us a DM to learn more. The Family Function was everything we hoped for and more! A day filled with family, community, laughter, music, resources, games, good food, and so much love. Seeing people of all ages come together and simply enjoy being in community is what makes this work so special. To every vendor, partner, volunteer, performer, supporter, and every family that came out and made the day what it was, thank you. This doesn’t happen without the collective effort of so many people who believe in creating spaces where our community can connect, celebrate, and feel like family. We’re still taking it all in, but one thing is for sure: the Family Flea Market Collective is growing, is real, and this is only the beginning. Until next time… we are FAMILY 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🫂 Credits: Video Production- @bearwalkcinema Music- Pray 4 Me by @nay_speaks Community Partners: @nay_speaks @iamjosaza @supersmashbroz @industriousprint @shopawol @bvdboston @brainchild.tm @cncpts @converse Community @other.1s @everybodygotta_eat @sharpcentro @dareales @clothesbytomo @thisisanoriginalworkofart @heartartbyparis @laramerchi @dlcreme @midas.bks @phase.us Vintage POP   @_wthrs_ @wheresnasty @djrightknee Dj Selecta.Chemka (@digilumz) @jasonsmithmusic @kalebtreat @theofficialgogo @kareemtunes @mez.wav @chinatown_trap @megvien @mobarcuts @coco_fernandez_ @pinkandprettyco @whyten.co @abeautifulresistance @leelayogawellness @gemmedbygia @bookedbyjeannie @playingameswith @snappedboston @destiiny_gonz Cupcakes @jorviamatcha @lyme_lyfe Mr. Kool Ice Cream Truck #familyfleamarket #familyfunction #boston #ittakesavillage #forcommunitybycommunity
