Introducing the Sol 12 Year All Pro Pro Model. This kendama takes one feature from every pro, legend, owner, and champ mod we’ve ever made up until the end of 2025 and combines it into one design 🤯☀️

Each pro will receive a royalty from the sale of this mod, so if you want to support the Sol pros and get a piece of Sol history, now is the time!

Every feature broken down:
From the original KD Mod by Kevin DeSoto, and the first pro model we ever produced, the E.Y.R. on the back of the small cup of the ken. From the first Flannel Mod by Lyndon Whalen, the 110% on the bottom of the small cup. From the Astro Mod by Liam Rauter, the blue fade on the bottom 50% of the tama. From the Mitch Mod by Alex Mitchell, the teal ring around the bevel. From the Bosch Mod by Kris Bosch, the teal to green fade on the top 50% of the tama. From the KD Mod 2.0 by Kevin DeSoto the white stripe around the center of the tama. From the Chado Mod by Chad Covington, the compass laser engraving around the bevel. From the Wong Mod by Kelvin Wong, the white tracking elements on top of the tama. From the Double Champ Mod by Alex Mitchell and Kelvin Wong celebrating their EKC 22 titles, the gold ring stall on the ken. From the Motty mod by Hiroto Motohashi, the “tomare” stop sign printed upside down on the back side of the cups. From the Spooky Mod by Alex Mitchell, the birds on the top of the tama. From the Whaledog Mod by Lyndon Whalen, the grande inside the bevel. From the Nowa Champ Mod by Nowa Yamada, the yellow heart on the front of the spike. From the Round Two Collab Pro Model by Alex Mitchell, the laser engraved stripe in the center of the tama. From the Bosch Mod v2 by Kris Bosch the gold sparkle on the tama. From the Chef Mod by Kelvin Wong, the laser engraved circle around the tracking circle of the bevel. From the Rudny Mod by Mateusz Rudny, the flowers around the top half of the tama. From the Cjusty Mod by Carter Justice, the two gold rings around the spike. From the KD Legend Mod by Kevin DeSoto the ken shape which debuted on his third mod. From the Nowa Pro Model by Nowa Yamada, the light blue painted handlestall.

I’m incredibly happy about these wins, but having so many people support me and share these moments with me makes them even more special.

📈 OPEN TOP 8 📈

These players are moving on to the head-to-head battle for $1,500 and their name on the NAKO trophy!

This year, for the first time ever, we ran Open in the Swiss format. That means every player had 3 rounds to set the final list of who moves on to Sunday. 6 of our top 8 had perfect 3-0 wins, so you know these finals are going to get INTENSE.

BATB 2026 Pt. 2/??? (Selfies, Dama Chess, Misc.)
🟡⚫️
Took a few more selfies this year with some of the people at the event! I’m surprised that I never got any selfies with almost all of the people pictured prior to this year, especially Chad and Sweets. Super cool to get to talk to them a little more, particularly Chad since I got to pick his brain a lil about KenCo. I was a little more surprised that he knew of me, made even better with me winning a spec 2025 Zen from the pre-jam raffle (more on that soon in the upcoming BATB haul post 😉) since I was described as a KenCo fanboy iirc lol. Really hoping to talk to them again at 2027’s Battle when it rolls around!
•
Battle was also the first time I got to play Dama Chess at the Quad House at D-Block! I’d always felt that it was a little intimidating, but once I played a few rounds and had a few rule refreshers, it turned out to be a lot easier and fun! There were so many stacks that I wish I could’ve gotten if I’d had slightly steadier hands (looking at that wing one 🥲). I’m hoping to play this a bit more at some of the SJSU seshes or even in Merced!

Where do I begin with this years post that was one for the books for sure with an imminent snow storm approaching the event was moved to one day 9am Friday to 2am Saturday we ran beg, int, adv,am open, pro open and freestyle in one day back to back!!!

what a grind but doing that with my two of my best friends @chadcovington and @kencastlekd was an honour and I am very thankful to have been brought on the admin team officially this year!! it means the world to be able to contribute to such an amazing event.

Shout out to firstly everyone who showed up and stuck with the schedule changes and adverse weather , shout out to all the vendors, sponsors and people who make this event possible, and finally to all the judges volunteers and everyone who contributed there time and effort.
Special thanks to @chadcovington without your support this would never have been possible 🙌🏻
Thank you all and see you next year ❤️

2025 ありがとうございました！ ☀️🙌

This year was a big one! Kicked the new year off by re-launching @kendamaco, hosting @batbkendama 2025 with nearly 600 attendees, studied Japanese in Tokyo at a language school for 6 months, still managed to make it out to all of the major kendama competitions around the world, came back home to celebrate my little brother’s wedding, and became an uncle to my older brother’s first child!

I made a lot of new friends in Japan, I learned a lot of Japanese, I worked hard to support the @solkendamas team, I created a lot of beautiful kendamas alongside some really talented people, and have so so so much more in store for 2026.

Great things take time, and I’m just getting started.
