It wasn’t the day, it was the year.

After a long period in the United States, I’ve learned that a team can be more than a family. I arrived at the conference with the 5th best time, and in the final, because of poor race management, I wasn’t able to give everything I had hoped for. On top of that, I lost the cross-country season due to an injury.

What I do know is that this doesn’t end here, and that this year has opened my eyes.

~My Junior Year comes to an end after a lot of races, workouts, people, and moments that will stay in my memory forever. I wanna thank the great team we built this year, competitive people and people who truly love track and field for real. Maybe this year we didn’t get the results we were hoping for, but next year I’m sure we’ll be there fighting for everything again.

~Looking at the individual side, it’s been an incredible year getting All-Conference🏅in cross and a 5th place in the 10k at outdoor conference, which means a lot after dealing with some injuries.

~I don’t know what’s coming next, but I’ll keep fighting to give my best for myself and for the team. See y’all soon… ;)
