You can write it for Davido, you can produce the beat for Davido, you can even recreate the sound, but who can actually sing it like Davido?

That’s what makes Davido different. His versatility has always been one of his biggest strengths. From the raw energy of “Dami Duro” to Afrobeats anthems, emotional records, street sounds and global collaborations, he has consistently found a way to make different sounds feel like his own.

Davido doesn’t have to sound the same on every record to leave the same kind of impact. Give him a beat, a melody or a completely different sound, and he has a way of adding his signature to it.

You can copy the recipe, but that Davido flavour? That one is different.

“SAM LOCO WAS FROM ANOTHER PLANET.” 🕊️🎬

Charles Inojie has shared a remarkable tribute to the late Nollywood legend Sam Loco, describing him as one of the most intelligent actors he had ever worked with.

According to Inojie, Sam Loco had an incredible ability to memorize and deliver his lines. He recalled that when they had a scene together, Sam Loco would sometimes read through the script with him just once before telling him to go and rehearse his own lines.

What amazed him even more was Sam Loco’s ability to remember other actors’ lines. Inojie said that if someone forgot their dialogue during a scene, Sam Loco could remind them of the exact line they were supposed to deliver.

For an actor who entertained generations with his unforgettable characters, comic timing and remarkable presence, stories like this offer another glimpse into the talent behind the laughter.

Inojie also expressed sadness that Sam Loco passed away without receiving a national honour, arguing that his immense contribution to Nigerian entertainment deserved greater recognition.

SAM LOCO WAS TRULY ONE OF A KIND. A LEGEND WHOSE TALENT WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. 🕊️❤️🎬
