Hard to put an experience like this into words.

Crazy to think I wasn’t even originally supposed to be on this season. I got the opportunity, took a chance on myself, walked into that room and ended up being the first pick of the entire show.

Then came the fights.

I stepped into that cage against someone almost everybody had me losing to and did what I knew I was capable of doing — knocked him out and gave the season one of its biggest highlights. At the buzzer too. One of those moments you dream about as a fighter, and somehow I got to live it on The Ultimate Fighter.

The journey didn’t end the way I envisioned it. There were highs, lows, controversy, lessons and moments that tested me in ways people watching at home will probably never fully understand. But looking back now, I wouldn’t trade the experience.

And as much as I’ll remember the fights, some of the best things I’m taking away from TUF have nothing to do with fighting. I walked into a house full of strangers and left with friendships and bonds I know will last long after the cameras stopped rolling. People from different countries, different backgrounds and different walks of life became family in a matter of weeks.

Thank you to Team Bisping, the coaches, everyone behind the scenes, every fighter I shared this experience with, and everybody who watched, supported me and showed love throughout the season. I felt all of it.

From not originally being on the show, to becoming the first pick, to knocking out the guy everyone thought would beat me — what a ride.

The Ultimate Fighter will forever be part of my story.

One chapter closes. Another one begins.

Ain’t no show like a Benji show.🤑🍿

That’s a wrap on TUF 34🎬
Congratulations to the finalists @melissa.amaya27 @tinablackmma @theineffablemma & @ilimbek__kgz The Ultimate Fighter is the most challenging tournament on Earth, and you guys deserve every bit of where you are. 👊🏼

Looking back on my experience, I can honestly say it was the worst and greatest experience of my life. It was an absolute emotional roller coaster that took me so far outside of my comfort zone and pushed me in ways I didn’t even know I could be pushed.

It also didn’t go the way I anticipated or hoped it would. At the time, that was a really hard thing to accept. But God’s plan is always perfect, even when I don’t understand it. What felt like a disappointment at the time ultimately led me exactly where I was supposed to be..the UFC.

But the most amazing part of this experience was the people.

Team Bisping went from seven complete strangers to people I genuinely consider family. I love these people more than I can put into words, and I’ll always be grateful that this crazy experience brought us together.

@mikebisping , @parilloboxing , @brady_fink -thank you for believing in me and for giving me the opportunity to learn from and be mentored by you guys

To the entire production staff, thank you for everything you did to make this experience what it was. @colesmash , you helped me through some of the toughest moments in that house and probably kept me sane more than you realize. You believed in me even when it was hard for me to believe in myself, and you’ve continued to support me all the way through. Forever thankful for you!

TUF will forever be part of my story. It challenged me, humbled me, pushed me, and gave me some of the most meaningful relationships I’ve ever made. 🙏🏼

AAAAAANNNNDDDD… STILLLLLLLLL @mackenziedern🔥🥇👊

It was an honor of a lifetime to get to watch up close for a couple of days what it truly takes to be a champion, and be in her corner for the big moment. I have to say, the other people in her corner that totally blew me away! People always say that you are a combination of the 5 people closest to you, and now I understand why Mackenzie is both an amazing human being and an absolutely ruthless warrior...
@parilloboxing @ckparillo @megatondias (& of course your mom & the one and only Moa!)

Thank you so much @mackenziedern for including me in such an unbelievably special moment in your career - it was an experience I will treasure forever! But I have to say… you’re still missing one more belt @celebritypokertour .. maybe September 4th👀
