50 years of greatness !
.
A few months ago, a friend reached out to me about creating a special cake for her husband’s 50th birthday.

The colors were navy blue and white, but the birthday celebrant had one very specific request: five candles in descending order, each with an X representing 10 years. Five decades, beautifully represented!

I loved how personal and meaningful that little detail was, and it was such a pleasure bringing his vision to life.
Cheers to 50 amazing years!

Some Bunny is One !
.
This past weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of making this amazing cake for Tami’s first birthday
.
But first, a little backstory because this one made me smile.
I met Tami’s mom about two years ago at a mutual friend’s event. We exchanged numbers but never really kept in touch. Then we ran into each other again at another event last year.

Fast forward to Tami’s first birthday, and @eventifyallure referred her to me for the cake. That was our “Wait… YOU’RE the baker?!” moment.
In her words, “I’m so glad you’re making my daughter’s cake.” And well… the rest is history!

I had so much fun creating this one. Every little detail was handmade; from the bunny and oversized bow to all the flowers and butterflies; with the exception of her name. Definitely a labor of love, and I love how it all came together. My favorite part of the cake, the adorable bunny😁

Happy 1st Birthday, Tami! And thank you, Mama, for trusting me with such a special milestone. It really is a small world.
