I’m so grateful to my friend and community leader Hal Hallmark in Milwaukie for supporting my re-election as Clackamas County Clerk. Hal has long been a strong advocate since we first met at Oregon City's First City, and I’m honored to have his continued support and friendship. I don't know how it has already been four years! Thank you, Hal!

Hector shares the history of the Beloved Community lunch group that has been meeting now for twenty-five years in Portland. Community leaders from different organizations, counties, faiths, backgrounds, and politics come together intentionally to get to know one another and eat together. I've been attending for about eight years now, always seeing old friends and making new ones.

Happy Easter. 🐰
Jesus wasn’t white, was working class, was anti-war, & was more pro-h0e than most of y’all.
Abolish the police. Abolish the military. Free Pa1estine.

⁨Join Clackamas United Church of Christ for a special sermon in honor of Just Peace Sunday this September 14th.

We will celebrate this important day by learning about CUCC's commitment to solidarity with the Filipino people, whether migrants fighting against Trump's anti-migrant attacks, or the millions of poor and oppressed Filipinos fighting for freedom and democracy in their homeland. Speakers will include CUCC member Dina Uraine who will share lessons in solidarity from faith leaders and activists featured at a recent conference hosted by the International Coalition for Human Rights in the Philippines (ICHRP). We will also hear from Charlie with BAYAN Oregon who will share what it will take to build a just peace in the Philippines through addressing the roots of forced migration and how we can join the fight against fascism from the US to the Philippines!
