28 years ago today. Six bright eyed young things walked into the Granada reception at the old Quay Street site to start their make up apprenticeship. Under the watchful eye of the lovely late David Myers. There we spent six weeks of intensive training. Lots of amazing memories an great friendships ❤️

Oh man! This has made me so sad. This man was our tutor and mentor as baby make up trainees at Granada Television back in the 90s! He was a genius, he shared his knowledge and time with me and many of my peers and we all went on to enjoy rich and wonderful careers thanks to our fabulous training and guidance from him. Dave you were funny, generous and passionate about so many things. Rest well my friend. ⭐️⭐️💕💕🥲

The perfect bookend to my 2023 season, Sophie & Bob’s wedding. It was their third time lucky after the last two were postponed by firstly covid and secondly the arrival of wonderful Olive 🤍

I won’t forget meeting Sophie & Bob 4 years ago in House of Koko, we got on so well from the moment go. I think this might be the longest period of time from enquiry to wedding, and finally this is the very last wedding of the covid backlog!

Of course we’ll take a moment to just appreciate how cute Olive is. She is the happiest child I’ve ever photographed, which feels such a privilege to be able to say. But this day wasn’t all about her! Sophie & Bob met at work in the TV industry and never looked back. The organisation of this wedding reflected that of Bob’s meticulous organisation of TV sets - incredible, even the order of service was in the design of a TV shoot plan.

And that’s 2023 wrapped up for me, what an brilliant year to look back on, finished with a cherry on top - thanks Sophie & Bob, you guys are the best. Thanks so much for having me be such a big part of your day. Love you both x
