I can’t believe this day has finally come. I’ve been wanting to be baptized for a while, and I am so incredibly lucky to be able to do it alongside my best friend. 🤍

I have met some of the greatest people through camp and church who have brought me so much joy and helped me grow so much further in my journey with the Lord. I am beyond grateful that my best friend Bella invited me to her church and that they welcomed me with open arms. I am so happy that I’ve been able to grow my faith alongside all of them.

My journey with the Lord has been rocky at times. I’ve dealt with anxiety, doubt, tons of overthinking, and moments where I’ve struggled with my self-worth. But through all of it, I’ve realized just how great the Lord is and that He loves me unconditionally. I am so grateful for the challenges and struggles I’ve faced because they’ve shown me that I can get through anything with God by my side.

These past couple of days at summer camp were exactly what I needed. God reminded me that Jesus isn’t just important—He is supreme. He holds everything together, is greater than I could ever imagine, and deserves more than just a small part of my life. He deserves my whole life.

I was also reminded that no matter what season I’m in, Jesus draws near, stays near, and is near to the brokenhearted. My feelings may change, my circumstances may change, but His presence never does.

I’m leaving camp with more than just pages of notes—I’m leaving with a renewed desire to put Jesus first in everything I do. My prayer is that when people see my life, they see Him before they see me.

“Whatever sits on the throne determines your life.” I’m choosing to let Jesus be on the throne.
